Yesterday, my colleague, mentor and close friend, Mark Anielski dropped by West Chester for a visit. He’s in the area to connectwith some old friends and make some new ones. Mark has just published a new book entitled The Economics of Happiness, a blueprint for a new paradigm of understanding the things that make life worthwhile.

I have just started reading the book, and this piece resonates truth from the opening paragraphs. In some ways I don’t need to read the book to tell you it’s full of truth. I’ve been beside Mark for many of the years leading up to this book. We’ve shared many afternoons at the Sugar Bowl cafe in Edmonton, discussing economics, the environment, and religion. So in that spirit, I would like to tell you about Mark’s book launch at the Sugar Bowl this thursday, at around 4 pm.
Hit it up.

Nice new format, but the aquamarine type is hard to read.
I used to think happiness was for fools: achievement was the goal.
Now that I have achieved a couple of things, I am one sad MoFo.
And yet, the question will be asked, did he, did he deliver the goods?
I think I did but it damn near killed me.
