Is America the world’s last outpost where Idiocy is glorified, or do other countries elevate anti-intellectualism to the same level? Americans have a president who utters Bushisms, and while they are like Yogiisms, they lack a certain panache and wit. Nevertheless, many countries throughout the world have some odd public figure who offers illogical, down-home quips.

Regardless, there’s either a growing trend towards anti-intellectualism as the Idiocracy takes hold around the globe, or there’s an over-supply of intellectuals who feel victimized by the vox populi and thus resort to writing books lamenting the demise of culture.
