H1N1 McCarthyists

It’s pretty clear the Media Punditocracy doesn’t like people who question the efficacy and safety of vaccines:

Katzenjammer: What we need is a vaccine against pseudo-science

Colby Cosh: Swine flu and the new “weird-ists”

Christie Blatchford Flu-shot skeptics weave a Web of lies

It’s like some sort of Public Health McCarthyism is emerging. One can’t have questions and doubts without being conflated with the loony tunes? Hey, Journos need to eat, too, and I guess stereotyping and sowing strife sell more copy.

I’m not against vaccines; I just have reservations about the H1N1 vaccine and the hype surrounding it. I think a lot of Canadians do, too.
